VW Aircooled works offers a large range of fuel hose kits, produced specifically for the VW Aircooled engines, both campervan and beetles. Each kit is made using the exact same high quality components that we regularly use at our workshop.
We make up our kits in house so if you do require a specific configuration such as all hard line or for a sports engine please feel free to contact us and we will go through each inquiry personally.
100% Bio-fuel 'Fit and Forget' Fuel Hose.
All the fuel hose used with in our 100% Bio-fuel kits are suitable for use with up to 100% ethanol. The fuel hose will not break crack or split due to the presence of ethanol within the petrol. These are non rubber and have a life expectancy of 25 years when correctly maintained.
This fuel line is used today by Volkswagen in its new vehicles, and a lot of high end sports cars, the advantage is that even during storage there will be no deterioration of the fuel hose due to ethanol.
The internal diameter of each fuel hose is designed to give the correct amount of grip force when connected, this limits the potential of leaks and gives a safe and tight fit to each connection. The fuel clips we supply are good quality band clips though slightly fiddly we find they hold a lot better and exert a good even firm even pressure when connected doing a much safer and better job than some other clips we have tested.

This kit is designed for a standard aircooled single carburetor engine which is running a standard 6mm fuel tank outlet, a 6mm fuel pump mechanical / electric and 6mm carbs. This is the standard non-modified setup.

This kit is designed for a standard twin carburetor engine which is running a standard 6mm fuel tank outlet, a 6mm fuel pump mechanical or electric and 6mm carbs, usually 34 or 36 pic.

3 - Twin Carb Kit - 6mm Fuel Pump - 8mm Carbs - £92.50
This kit is designed for a twin carburetor engine which is running a standard 6mm fuel tank outlet, a 6mm fuel pump mechanical or electric and 8mm carbs, usually 40 or 44 pic.
The kit comes with all the parts required along with a choice of reducers depending upon your style of twin carb. This includes enough fuel hose to run from the 6mm tank outlet to 6mm fuel pump. Two style of reducers are included to allow you to the run the larger fuel hose between the 8mm carb inlets and out lets on the 40 0or 44 pic carbs. A hard line kunfier piece is also included to run through the tinware so to as prevent the fuel hose chaffing against the tinware.

A 8mm hard line kunfier piece is also included to run through the tinware so to prevent the fuel hose chaffing against the tinware.

This kit is designed for a fuel injection engine, and comes with the correct size fuel hose for the whole set up.
The kit comes with all the parts required to change all the fuel hose. This includes enough 8mm fuel hose for all the short connections along with a section of large 11mm fuel hose. The kit also includes a large 8/11mm box filter, along with all the fuel clips required.

Hard Line Kunifer pipe
Hard kunifer lines are designed to go through the tinware instead of using fuel hose this prevents the hose being chaffed and rubbed which can shorted the life span of the fuel hose and cause crack and leaks. This is also available for both 6mm and 8mm engine set up.

It is also possible to design your own fuel hose route using the hard line kunifer and only small connecting sections of fuel hose. Please contact by email with pictures of your engine set up and we can discuss routing and measurements on a case by case basis.
Ethanol Resistant Fuel filler Hose. - Early/Late Bay £50
The fuel filler hose is designed to connect the fuel tank opening to the fuel filler neck. The old braided hose is likely to be 30 years old, and though it only has limited contact with petrol and petrol vapors, this still deteriorates over time.
VW Aircooled works offers a Ethanol resistant fuel filler hose. This hose is the correct diameter and size to fit on an early bay as a direct replacement.

If your fuel tank is out then it is probably worth considering treating your fuel tank to remove rust and seal it with an ethanol resistant coat.
